Schedule your wedding day tan 1–3 days before the big day (ideally 2–3 days so you can shower twice before wearing white).

Our calendar opens 90 days in advance from today’s date, and wedding weeks fill up fast — so book early or set a reminder!

Dress & Tan Line Planning

Plan tan lines around the style of your dress — add Tan Line Correction ($10) if needed.

It’s easiest to blend soft tan lines, but even harsh ones can be softened and made photo-ready.

Kait’s Tips

Exfoliate whole body thoroughly before your tan (don’t forget armpits!).
On the big day, dust tight areas (straps, armpits, bust) with baby powder 30–60 minutes before getting dressed — this protects the tan and your gown.
Avoid body oils 48 hours before the tan. Use tan-safe lotions instead.
Perfume goes on your clothes, not your skin — alcohol can fade the tan.
Plan your spray tan for a time when you can be makeup-free, braless, and relaxed while it develops.

What should I wear during and after my tan?

Loose, dark clothing is best — think comfy, flowy pieces that won’t rub or cling. If you wore a bra or underwear during your tan, it’s totally fine to keep them on afterward. Just avoid anything tight or light-colored that could cause friction or pick up bronzer while your tan is developing.

How do I prevent tan from rubbing on my dress?

Use baby powder on areas where your dress fits snugly (armpits, chest, straps) 30–60 minutes before getting dressed. This helps create a light barrier between your skin and the fabric, which can reduce the chance of transfer.

Please note: While transfer onto clothing—especially white—is uncommon, it is still possible. For this reason, we cannot guarantee there will be no color transfer.
